Ever feel as if you are shouting on social media "HIRE ME! BOOK ME!" but little to no response? You might have the wrong approach. Unless you seriously want to cut your prices to attract ANY body to your business, you might want to try this instead.
So you post a mini session ad on facebook and you hear CRICKETS! I totally get you, that has happened to me before. Maybe you aren't getting a steady stream of clients because of your approach, not because your work is not fantastic.
The secret to getting and keeping clients is making them, yes them feel that you are a valuable person to work with and give their hard-earned money too! I know it sounds like "DUH" I already do that when I am nice to them during sessions and editing their images for them.
People need to know why they should invest in you.
The best way to do this is to become a content creator. Post interesting topics that they would find valuable. For example, in stead of just posting a photo of a session, instead write an article about the 5 ways to look good in photos. Better yet, make a video about it (people are 100 times more likely to click on a video that photo)
Once you create something of value, share it, tweet it, facebook it, instagram it and send it to your email list!
Constency is the key. Don't just post the occasional photo online. do a daily post and a weekly email about something new that you want to share or what's going on in your business.
